Welcome to the ORIJIN TEA club!
Our company was founded in 2002 under the original name Teanet cn-cz.
ORIJIN stands for originality, oriental origin, and eco-friendliness.
We bring to the Czech Republic the widest range of premium Chinese teas directly from plantations and workshops in China.
We own a tearoom and tea shop in the very heart of Prague, run an online tea store, and operate as a wholesale supplier for smaller tearooms across the Czech Republic and abroad.
In the authentic tearoom interior designed by a Chinese architect, you can enjoy high-quality Chinese teas, admire an exhibition of thin-walled porcelain teaware from the famous porcelain town in southern China, Jingdezhen, or purchase teaware for home tea sessions. In our assortment you will find tea trays, Yixing clay teapots for the gongfucha tea ceremony, porcelain gaiwans and cups, tea utensils, travel tea sets, and much more.
Our mission is not only to introduce local customers to quality Chinese teas, but also to broaden their horizons and educate them in Chinese tea culture, which is an integral part of the cultural heritage of the Middle Kingdom.
For 20 years we have been engaged in trading quality Chinese tea and spreading awareness of the unique and immensely rich Chinese tea tradition, which has earned us a prominent position in the Czech and Central European markets as well as in tea circles.
Owner and Founder
The founder of ORIJIN TEA is Mr. Wei Jin, a native of Beijing and a Chinese tea master, holder of the National License of Chinese Tea Masters. After permanently settling in Prague, he founded the company, the tea club, and also the Czech-Chinese Tea Association. Mr. Jin is a respected expert in his field. Every spring he visits famous tea regions of his native China to select the best spring harvests directly from plantations and workshops. In the Czech Republic and Central Europe he regularly participates in tea conferences, fairs, and other events focused on tea and tea culture.
