“Rare Orchid” – one of the few newer cliff oolongs (yancha) from the Wu Yi Mountains.
Typically loosely twisted larger leaves with a sweet floral aroma. The infusion is a sparkling dark yellow, with an intense, sweetly floral fragrance, ripe fruit notes, and honeyed undertones. Within its category, this type of cliff oolong is among the gentler, less roasted varieties.
The flavor is full, orchid-like to honeyed, with a long, intensely aromatic, and sweetening aftertaste.
