Hui You 灰釉: Ash glaze, a technique of glazing ceramics with plant ash which is over 3000 years old. It is usually less shiny than mineral glazes. It is one of the main pillars of Chinese ceramics - it has its place alongside Ru Yao, Yue Yao and Qing Ci (celadon).
