Tie Luo Han

SKU: B227
“Iron Arhat” – Another representative of the renowned yancha. It is among the most famous cliff teas produced in the Wu Yi Shan area. The dry leaves are very dark—essentially anthracite in color—and carry aromas of roasting and dark chocolate. When infused, the leaves take on a deep emerald hue. The liquor is darker in color, with a balanced taste, pronounced roastiness, and a long, sweet aftertaste whose floral sweetness lingers long after finishing the last cup. Learn more

Traditionally, this group also includes Da Hong Pao, Shui Jin Gui, and Bai Ji Guan. Various sources, however, list different combinations, so you may also encounter teas such as Shui Xian and Rou Gui. All of these, in any case, are undoubtedly famous cultivars and well known among tea enthusiasts.
