Lung Ching, also known as Long Jing
龙井, is a world-famous and widely recognized tea, known for its unmistakable appearance. During one of the early steps in processing (Sha Qing), the tea leaves are hand-flattened and shaped in woks heated from below with wood. This unique method gives the tea its characteristic flat leaves.
Dragon Well originates from Long Jing village (hence the name) in Zhejiang Province, from the West Lake (Xi Hu) area.
Shi Feng
狮峰, or Lion Peak, refers to teas from the area around the mountain of the same name, or to the tea’s quality/class (see the linked article above for more details).
