“Dragon Well from West Lake.” Xi Hu (West Lake) is located near Hangzhou in eastern China. The monastery plantations around it were already renowned in the time of The Classic of Tea by Lu Yu (758 CE).
Long Jing is a spring tea, with the finest harvests coming from this season. The processes of sorting, drying, and pan-firing must be carefully followed to produce authentic Long Jing. The tea features flat leaves, a pronounced aroma, and a liquor that is sweet and beautifully fragrant.
