A higher grade of the well-known and much-loved “Dragon Well from West Lake” (Xi Hu Long Jing), which is traditionally divided into 13 different quality grades. Authentic Long Jing is processed exclusively by hand, a method that requires great skill and time and therefore significantly increases the tea’s price.
The quality, however, fully justifies the cost. Higher-grade Dragon Well teas yield a crystal-clear infusion of a delicate emerald hue, with an aroma as rich as orchids and a fresh, vibrant flavor accented by fruity notes.

Lung Ching, also known as Long Jing (龙井), is a world-famous and highly regarded tea, easily recognized by its distinctive appearance. During processing, in one of the the earliest production steps (Sha Qing, “kill-green”), the tea leaves are hand-flattened and shaped in woks heated from below by wood fire. This unique technique gives the tea its characteristically flat leaves.
Dragon Well originates from Long Jing village (from which it takes its name) in Zhejiang Province, in the West Lake (Xi Hu) area.
