About

As the core offering and the only ripe (shou) puerh in the "Pu'er Town" series, this tea is crafted from carefully selected leaves sourced from well‑known tea‑growing areas along the Lancang River in Yunnan. The material comes from ecological tea gardens with trees approximately 20–30 years old. Through masterful blending, it showcases the classic profile of high‑altitude large‑leaf ripe puerh: mellow, thick, smooth, and sweet. It is a benchmark‑grade daily ripe puerh with consistent quality and timeless taste.

Environment
The tea gardens are situated at high altitudes, where a unique ecosystem enriches the leaves' inner quality, giving them the distinctive character and essence of Yunnan large‑leaf varieties.

Tea tasting
Mouthfeel
  • Mellow and full on the palate, the liquor is smooth, thin, and well‑balanced, with a long, noticeable aftertaste. It brings a warm, comfortable throat sensation and a gentle, soothing body feel.
Aroma
  • A pure aged fragrance dominates, accompanied by pleasant sweet notes like woody sweetness and date sweetness. The aroma is clean, with no off‑odors from the fermentation process.
Liquor Color
  • Rich, bright red with an amber glow, clear and translucent.

Craftsmanship
Core process
  • Using modern pile‑fermentation (wo dui) under controlled temperature and humidity transforms the tea leaves, developing the unique color, aroma, and taste of ripe puerh.
Key step – blending
  • Post‑fermentation, leaves from different batches are skillfully blended to achieve a harmonious flavor and stable quality before being pressed and dried.
Art of blending
  • Through expert blending, richness, sweetness, and aroma are balanced to create its classic, harmonious "town‑style" character.

Storage recommendation
  • Environment: Keep in a clean, ventilated, dry, dark, and odor‑free place.
  • Containers: Original packaging is suitable; can also be stored in a yixing can, ceramic can, or food‑grade aluminum bag.
  • Note: Avoid strong odors; refrigeration is not needed. Ripe puerh is stable and can be aged gracefully in suitable conditions, growing mellower over time.
